Kaitlyn Lysaght – Professional Dog Trainer

As a kid, Kaitlyn always loved animals and wanted to become Dr. Dolittle. She figures being a dog trainer is the next best thing.

Her background is in art and teaching, and some of the skills transfer. She’s taught kids and adults how to tap into their own creativity and wonder. Still, she felt like something was missing. Kaitlyn’s best friend is a dog groomer, and she first experienced what it was like to train dogs through one of her coworkers at Petco. She learned a bit about how dogs think, why they do the things they do, and how to improve communication. Canine Trade Group helped Kaitlyn round out her training knowledge by introducing more balanced training methods.

In addition to dogs (and cats), Kaitlyn enjoys art, nature, teas, roller skating, and animation. She’s excited to join the team at Lonestar Dog Training and help create lasting, loving relationships between dogs and their owners.
